The Outdoor Art Club, located in the heart of Mill Valley, is a popular and unassuming venue for intimate weddings.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding there and it was a truly magical oasis and has become my favorite venue for intimate weddings in the North Bay.
The wedding ceremony took place in the garden area lined with Redwood Groves, which completely take the visitor by surprised as it’s a tiny garden in the middle of town. The bride and groom exchanged their vows on a gorgeous and warm afternoon with little peaks of light shining through the redwoods. The bride wore a long olive green silk slip, not at all conventional! The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, with the couple surrounded by their closest family and friends. At the end of the ceremony they invited all guests to “join their circle” and read their commitment vows with them. Because, after all, it does take a village to make a marriage last.
After the ceremony, the couple hugged, laughed and cried when they got to reunite with their family and friends after 2 years of pandemic lockdowns. There were plenty of delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks to go around. The reception was equally moving when the boys praising their parents on not only their successes in their careers but also being a role model for their sons through their values and commitment to family.
